YOUR TREATMENT

What to expect during your appointment

We'll start with a consultation and a physical assessment, then your Clinician will discuss your treatment options with you. It's our job to make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. On this page we'll outline what to expect at your appointment; you can also have a look at our Frequently Asked Questions to find out more.

Course of Treatment

Your course of treatment will range from a one-off appointment to a number of regular appointments, or periodical check-ups.

We'll start by listening to you

The first time you come for treatment, your Clinician will carry out an initial consultation, which takes one hour. During this assessment they will ask you lots of questions in order to get a thorough understanding of your case; you can tell your Clinician about any symptoms you're experiencing, and give us a fuller picture of who you are and how we can help you.

This is followed by a physical examination. They may also ask you to perform some specific movements to observe how different parts of your body are working. The assessment allows your Clinician to deduce the nature and severity of your condition, and the things that your body is doing well. At the end of the assessment they will explain their recommendations and the treatment options open to you, including an indication of how many appointments you are likely to need.

Trust and integrity are front and centre when we're dealing with patients: we'll never recommend more treatment than you need, and we'll always be transparent with you on your treatment plan and timeline. If you have any questions about your treatment plan, your clinician will be happy to answer them and tailor your treatment to best fit you.

Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Clinical Pilates, Nutritional Therapy & Movement Coaching in Camden, tailored to your needs

Some patients only need one appointment. Others may have a course of treatment or return periodically for long-term management of a condition or general body maintenance as a preventative measure. Your treatment length will be based on how you progress rather than a prescription of a set number of treatment sessions.

The pace of your appointments is dictated by you: we'll move at a pace you're comfortable with, and we can pause, take a break, or talk you through the process whenever you need. The comfort of the patients in our care is paramount at all times. If you have a condition that cannot be treated with Osteopathy or Physiotherapy, or that requires medical attention, your Clinician will let you know when you need to see a medical professional.

We offer Osteopathy, Physiotherapy , Podiatry, Nutrition Consultations, Clinical Pilates (including Reformer Pilates), Fitness Training and Movement Coaching; your Clinician will discuss treatment options with you during your initial consultation.
